What: This is a magazine about my love of the nature in my area.

There are three chapters in this magazine. The first chapter is about birds, the second one is about flowers and the third one is showing pictures of a hiking path and includes a short story. Each of the chapters have a different style. The birds are illustrated, the flowerheads are picked, pressed and scanned in and the pictures of the hiking path are analouge photographs. To connect them as a whole every chapter has the same header and text font, and I use colored circles throughout the magazine to represent the circle of nature and life. The colors of the circles are sampled from the pictures that are on the same page. In our daily stressful life we often walk blindly pass the beatury of nature, therefore I added an extra page to each flower. I used milky translucent paper and printed more of the blossoms in black and white on it – like the way we see it passing it fast.

Das Magazin ist in drei Kapitel geteilt. Das erste Kapitel ist über Vogelarten, das Zweite über Blumen und das Dritte zeigt eine Fotostory einer Wanderung und enthält auch eine Kurzgeschichte. Jedes Kapitel hat einen anderen Bildstil. Die Vögel sind illustriert, die Blumenköpfe sind gepflückt, gepresst und eingescannt und die Fotos aus dem dritten Kapitel sind digitalisierte Versionen analoger Fotos. Um die Kapitel zu verbinden ziehen sich die Schriften und Kreise durch das ganze Magazin. Die Kreise repräsentieren den Kreislauf in der Natur. Um stimmige Farbschemen zu erstellen sind die Kreise gefüllt mit Farben, welche aus den Bilder auf der selben Seite gezogen sind. Durch den täglichen Stress gehen wir beim Spazieren oder Wandern manchmal blind auf dem Weg, weshalb die Blumenseiten auch eine zusätzliche Seite enthalten – ein milchiges Transparentpapier mit Blütenköpfen in schwarz und weiß, so wie wir es im schnellen Vorbeigehen wahrnehmen.
